The Mad God's Summon
A Survival Experience
100 Challenges before our next adventure!
What is TPK?

TPK is a monthly-subscription series of illustrated D&D one-shot modules, adversarial by design. Each Challenge is a physical zine under 16 pages, playable in 1–3 hours, with a DM who's actually trying to end you. Survive one, and there's another waiting. Built for a 10th-level character using the D&D 5.5e (2024) ruleset.
Made by

Human-Made, Start to Finish
Written by Yosho (left), a Dungeon Master since AD&D 2nd Edition. TPK grew out of decades running games and a gap he kept seeing at conventions, adversarial one-shots that respect people's time. Illustrated by Dani (right), his daughter and a full-time art student, who brings every Challenge to life.Edited by Chris (bottom), who reads every zine twice. Once before it reaches Dani, once more before it goes to print, catching what the rest of us miss and keeping the whole team on schedule. We wouldn't be here without him. This is our team and we are looking forward to growing and making more content for the community.

Semmes Geek Fest is in the books, and we're still riding the high. We ran demos at our table all day, and everyone who sat down to play said the same thing: they'd never experienced anything like it. That's exactly the reaction we build TPK for. Running a booth turned out to be its own Challenge, but every one of those conversations made it worth surviving. We were so happy to be there.
Dani made it a weekend to remember too by cosplaying as Spider Punk, then taking home 1st place in the art contest for a mixed-medium Hatsune Miku piece, and 2nd place for the guitar prop she built for her own costume.
The panel was received well with the hot topic of AI being used in D&D and we were happy to share our views. All in all it was an amazing day and we are looking forward to more conventions in the future!
